This piece depicts the magnificent scenery of Victoria Harbour, one of Hong Kong's most iconic tourist attractions. Nestled between Kowloon to the south and Hong Kong Island to the north, this deep-water harbour has guided Hong Kong's transformation from a small fishing village into a vibrant international metropolis.
Victoria Harbour is not only a cherished treasure for locals but also a popular landmark for countless visitors. Standing here, gazing at the world-renowned skyline, each view is truly breathtaking. Towering skyscrapers, lush green mountains, and the azure waters of the harbour, along with the boats that frequently traverse its expanse, together create a stunning and beautiful panorama.
The composer gazes affectionately at this beautiful harbour that nurtured his growth, recalling cherished memories of the past and expressing deep affection and gratitude. At the same time, he conveys his hopes and aspirations for a bright future.
